A native of Pinedale, WY, Chopper is an avid rancher, ranch adviser, horseman, skier and back-country guide with deeply informed insight into the unique and overlapping economics of ranching, energy development and land stewardship. After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Agriculture Business, Chopper spent nearly two decades working in corporate finance for NCNB (now Bank of America), SunTrust Banks, and a private structured securitization firm while living in Charlotte, New York City, and Atlanta, before returning to his native Wyoming were he has achieved leadership positions in business and real estate, with a specific focus on large ranch transactions.
